About the Instructors

justin and oliva tallJustin and Olivia have been dancing together since 2010. They were original members of the dance team Rainier Rhythm, and have since competed and performed together all over the country. Whether competing, teaching, or choreographing, they try to emphasize the passion and playfulness of the dance and are always looking to make their swing outs go a little faster. Their career highlights include a first place win in the team division at The Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown 2010, and performing at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall as part of the Jump Session Show at Camp Jitterbug.

When teaching, Justin and Olivia focus on good technique to give students the tools to push the dance forward without losing its original spirit.
