Christine Nguyen started lindy hopping in 2008, thanks to the swing dance program at City College of San Francisco and the renowned Carla Heiney. She taught and performed with Nathan at Cats Corner and Avenue Dance Studio in 2010 & 2011 before moving to Southern California. While down there, she continued dancing and teaching at LindyGroove in Pasadena. Christine's lindy philosophy is that each dance is a conversation, and we are all working to become the best conversationalists we can be. Her teaching style involves a lot of pop culture references, sound effects, and analogies. Christine, who finds herself back in the Bay Area for a short-term visit, is excited to reunite with Nathan for some more fun Swing & Lindy Hop classes this October!
